Last week I had my longest brick to date and it went so well....
Nutrition during this felt spot on:
- Every hour I took in 1 of my 4 Bottles of Poweraid Zero mixed with 2 scoops of Ironman Perform.
- Took 1 gel on each hour mark (4 total)
**140 liquid cals, 100 food cals - 240per hr
Next week I have an Olympic Tri then Lake Stevens is just around the corner!!!
Tan Lines:
'The Garmin''The racer back & Tramp Stamp'
That bottom one hurts. I lather in sunscreen every day. My lower back usually doesn't see the sun and I didn't realize my shirt was riding up on the bike last weekend and ended up with that cute 'tramp stamp' tan line, nice.
Things to stop doing to yourself ...
(Got this from LBC, a page I follow)Stop acting like everything is fine if it isn’t.
– It’s okay to fall apart for a little while. You don’t always have to pretend to be strong, and there is no need to constantly prove that everything is going well. You shouldn’t be concerned with what other people are thinking either – cry if you need to – it’s healthy to shed your tears. The sooner you do, the sooner you will be able to smile again.
Have a great weekend.
